Drawing Algiz ᛉ
Fuck if I don't see this everywhere when someone is feeling vulnerable or in an awkward situation. When I draw Algiz, I consider the following
- What specifically is making me feel vulnerable or awkward?
- Do I need to figure out a time and place that I can reset and feel less of a vampiric drain on my energy?
- Is so much being pulled from me that I don't have enough of that resource left for myself?
- Am I being hyper vigilant because of being hurt in the past? Do I need to be vigilant or should I just chill the fuck out?
- Should I get some quiet time or do I need a good time with close friends?
It's not just about tensing up and treating everyone as sus. You can't let past trauma guide you. It was right about things when you needed it, but you can't allow it to take control of your thinking.
