Subconscious Conversation

Why did I think that?

For the purposes of this conversation, we’re going to establish that the conscious mind is what you consider to be you. The subconscious mind is also your same brain but it’s the part that automatically-thinks for you. For example, breathing doesn’t take conscious effort. Unless you’re really high. The part of your mind reading this post is your conscious mind. The part of you that blinks while reading it is the subconsious. Are both “you?” Yes.

There is a lot that your subconscious will unearth to your conscious in a mostly formed thought so your conscious can finish processing it. Trauma response is just that. You had something happen that part of your brain says “fear death because of this” and you will fear it without your conscious overriding that response over time.

With that revelation, I argue that many conversations people have had with their spirit guides or guardian angles have been nothing more than interacting with their subconscious mind.

So is all this just a game we play with ourselves until we die? Pretty much.

Ways to Communicate with your Subconscious

There’s so many ways to do it. My primary method is meditation and symbols. I use music without words to remove audible distractions. I find a place I won’t be bumped or need to move from. I put myself on Do Nor Disturb. I ignore everything else including the passing of time. THEN I can have a conversation with my own thoughts. I will either imagine entities who represent things and have conversations with them like a day-dream or I’ll pull runes. Runes are kind of a pre-built set of 25 different points of view you can take on something. The conversation with entities you imagine can be much more feral. Both will allow you to think things through much more throughly.

Is this how people talk to a god?

Yes. I think so. I’m not going to rule out a possibility that we’re able to talk with the dead or communicate with some actual other entities. It’s just much easier to discern your thoughts from external influences when you’ve had time to get to know your own mind on a deep level.
