Pragmatic View

Why am I taking a pragmatic view with regards to religion, paganism, and general heathenry? That's because it's what I think and believe.

I have no ill intent towards anyone who is religious in the Abrahamic religions or older Paganistic religions. I want you to have the freedom to do what you want and believe. I would hope you would afford me the same space and respect.

I am not a religious person but I understand the impact of rituals and ceremonies. I know that as long as we are the apex species on this wet rock floating through space and time, we're always going to learn more. Our understandings will change over time and in no way do I want to harm someone living their life and having a good time.

I am from a very germanic background culturally and ethnically. I found the courage to explore my family's history pre-abrahamic influence and there are things I've grown to understand and appreciate. In the tradition of an evolving belief, I've found ways to incorporate some of those things into my life.
